Eumar’s unique Five Point Plus design was selected as a shortlisted finalist for the 2019 Seatrade Cruise Awards in the Marine Interior Design of the Year category.

As one of the most sophisticated designs in our product portfolio, this recognition affirms that we have created yet another great product.

Judged by leaders in the industry with a wealth of knowledge and experience, the Seatrade Cruise Awards offers recognition for both industry categories and personality and community awards. The annual awards are a celebration of excellence and showcase the most exciting innovations, projects, and initiatives that have a positive impact on the development of the cruise industry.

The 2019 Seatrade Cruise Awards were presented at the CLIA Germany Gala Dinner on the occasion of Seatrade Europe on 11 September 2019 in Hamburg, Germany and attendance was by invitation only.

The Five Point Plus has everything you could wish for in a vanity unit and is specifically designed in contemporary design and style for bathrooms with limited space. It will make any bathroom stand out from the crowd and create positive emotions for visitors and guests.

The Five Point Plus washbasin harmoniously balances straight lines and gently rounded forms. Slightly rounded edges lend the rectangular basic shape a softer appearance, while the drain is almost invisibly integrated into the basin.

The Five Point plus utilizes a fully integrated design approach that minimizes risk and maximizes value.Thanks to its sophisticated design this space-saving model is perfect for cruise ship interiors and guarantees the best aesthetic and ergonomic result. The product is totally customizable based on the cruise ship bathroom layout and sizes and is supplied as a suite including a washbasin, faucet, lower cabinets, mirror, upper shelves and a lighting panel.

We have already won a Red Dot award for our home design collection, and now we have created a similar design product with the vanity set for the cruise ship industry. Eumar believes that the Five Point Plus’ product design and technical accomplishment is worth the attention of the cruise-ship industry, and we are very excited about the upcoming awards.

As one of only three finalists for the Seatrade Design Awards in our category, we were honored to be among such illustrious company. We were up against two UK based companies: Marella Cruises and SMC Design.

The winner of our category Marine Interior Design of the Year was SMC Design for Saga Cruises Spirit of Discovery. With our product Five Point Plus we shared the 2nd and 3rd place with Marella Cruises for the 19th Hole Clubhouse onboard Marella Explorer. It was an incredible evening and we were very honored to be invited. It makes us glad that our work is recognized and valued by the leaders of the cruise industry.
